Our Team

Ghassan Khalil

Managing Partner
With over two decades immersed in the nonprofit sector, Ghassan Khalil stands as a beacon of expertise and leadership. He has personally capacitated countless organizations, guiding them to craft and customize fiscal policies, simplify nonprofit financial statements, and efficiently oversee government grants and contracts. His esteemed clientele list includes organizations like The Hetrick-Martin Institute, After Hours Project, Arthur Ashe Institute, and African Services Committee.

Before laying the foundation stones of Khalil, Zelin & Associates, Consulting LLC, and Nonprofit Consulting Services, LLC, Mr. Khalil served in critical roles as Chief Financial Officer, Controller, and Director of Finance for a myriad of nonprofit organizations.

His endeavors with Public Health Solutions mark another chapter of accomplishment, where he pioneered the "Common Cents" guide and conducted extensive training sessions with renowned organizations like United Way, Department for the Aging, and New York State AIDS Institute.

Mr. Khalil’s educational background stems from CUNY Baruch College, where he procured his BA in Business Administration and Accounting. Moreover, he proudly holds a Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) certificate and is recognized as a Certified Instructor/Facilitator by LANGEVIN, the world's most prominent Train-the-Trainer company.

Gurucharran (Gucci) Kaloo

Managing Partner
With an impressive track record spanning over 26 years, Gucci Kaloo is a maestro in managing federal, state, and city grants. He's facilitated numerous community-based organizations and renowned hospitals, emphasizing grants management, internal control formulation, and fiscal operations.

His tenure at Public Health Solutions (PHS) witnessed the proficient management of over $160 million across various health domains. As Director of Finance and Operations, he innovatively provided financial solutions to the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, pioneering dynamic planning tools that vastly improved budget scenario planning.

An integral part of the Executive Team at PHS, Gucci’s strategic vision ensured the division not only met but surpassed the expectations of its funders, keeping abreast of the ever-evolving operational environment. NYC's impeccable utilization of the Ryan White Part A funds under his vigilant oversight makes it a revered "gold standard" in the eyes of federal funders.
